This website is a place I often look to when I think of how truly beautiful design can be – right from the original product concept to the website design, and including things such as the studio styling. The overall vision of Apparatus is in such unison that it is delightful to sit and click through the various pages of their online store.
The ultra tactile materials that Apparatus use and the wonderful geometric aesthetics of their designers make for real stand out pieces of lighting and objects that really are a class act. This is a breath of fresh air in a high-end market that doesn’t really take risks and often panders to more traditionally “bling” stylings. Many of the pieces shown are possibly more “aspirational” rather than a reality for many of us, but I like to feature pieces such as this from time to time as an inspirational post to show how breathtaking some high end design can really be! I’ve selected some of my favourite images from the site for this article, including the stunning studio photo which is the feature picture.
